Calf Reduction by Wave Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Laser Center

Attractive calves are desirable to people of all cultures and ethnicity but some women have thick muscular calves that can give a masculine appearance to the legs. The calf thickness can also be further accentuated by having a short stature. Some may also have excess fatty tissue in conjunction with thick muscles. This condition can lead women to have less confidence and affect them socially.

A thick calf may be considered an aesthetic problem by women who find it awkward wearing clothes like short skirts or more revealing swimsuits. Bulky calves can also make short legs look even shorter.

There are different treatment options using both non surgical and surgical techniques. Botox injections alone can help decrease the size of the calves or it can be combined with RF(RadioFrequency) to further shrink the size of the calves. This is done safely with intravenous sedation and local anesthesia in our certified outpatient surgery center.
